➡️ 向 (at) ...施以拉力。
E.g. The offer is very attractive to us.

distract 轉移、使錯亂 (v.)
distract / divert / disturb / confuse / bewilder 使錯亂、困惑 (v.)
➡️ 將精神或思想脫離 (dis) 正常軌道或狀態。
E.g. It was another attempt to distract attention from the truth.
這又是企圖分散人們對於事實真相的注意力。

detract 減損、貶低 (v.)
➡️ 將某人的名聲往下 (de) 拉。
E.g. Andrew was determined not to let anything detract from his enjoyment of the trip.
Andrew 下定決心這次旅行不讓任何事情影響他的興致。

tractable 馴良的、易處理的 (a.)
反義詞：obstinate / unyielding / stubborn / headstrong
➡️ 可以 (able) 拖拉的。
E.g. This difficulty turned out to be more tractable than I had expected.
這個困難最後處理起來比我想像中還要容易。

➡️ 向前 (pro) 延伸。
E.g. The war protracted for around ten years.
